My name is James,
and this is my website.
I created this blog
for two reasons:
~ To present my ideas,
thoughts, feelings & intentions
in a shareable form,
that is both visually appealing
and enjoyable to interact with.
~ To attract like-minded people,
so that we may together
create a community
oriented toward the
principles and intentions
outlined in great detail below.

A Brief Summary of My Youth
In order to fully convey my philosophy,
principles and intentions
(including the explicit porpoise of this site)
It seems prudent to share my life story,
or at least the general outline
of what has led to the emergence
of the Vital Aesthetic.
~
I was born in the mid-90's
in the Pacific Northwest.
My parents were working class folks
of humble means.
They split when I was very young,
and both ended up
with new partners shortly after.
I didn't see my father much;
I have maybe a year of my life
in which I was in his care.
I grew very angry and rebellious, engaging
in many socially unacceptable activities
expressly to defy my mother and stepfather
who I resented
for their attempts to impress upon me
their perceptions and parameters for life.
It took me a while
to work out that resentment.
During my adolescence and early adulthood,
I developed an intimate relationship
with alcohol, unhealthy foods
and video games.
By the time I turned 21 I was a full-on drunk,
who never ate healthy food,
and spent all his free time on escapism.
I had no goals, plans, or vision,
no sense of purpose;
and I was suffering immensely.

At 23, I had a mystical experience
which shattered my entire
perception of reality.
All my beliefs were brought into question,
and over the next five years
I underwent radical transformation.
Every single agreement I had held
about the nature of reality,
my identity, and cosmic logistics
was brought to my attention to be reknown
or in other words: made new.
This process was hellish at times
and ecstatic at others;
a lot of pain ~ but also indescribable beauty.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone,
and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I found ways to articulate questions
that had grown in me for years,
and found the answers.
That's why I built this site:
I found the answers to my questions.
And I have found the words
to share them with you;
because methinks that perhaps
you may have some of the same questions.

My Philosophy
~
My philosophy at 18
was hard materialism,
I was blackpilled to the max.
From 12 to 18 I had spent
many hours at my computer,
reading hundreds of
Wikipedia articles,
and hundreds of others ~
diving down many a rabbit hole
to develop what I then considered
a holistic comprehension of the world
and the mechanics of the universe.
The trouble was that:
I believed what I read.
I believed that 'authorities',
'experts', and so on,
were correct in their position
and assertions.
I had been indoctrinated into statism,
and was totally unaware of it.
I was then, however,
introduced to psychedelics;
and thus began a period
of intense disillusionment.
Through direct experience
it was made crystal clear to me
that my beliefs and perceptions
were not only incorrect,
but diametrically opposed to Truth.
So began my journey
into esoteric study.
Metaphysics, true spirituality,
biogeometry, bioterrain, natural law,
natural diet, alternative history,
etymology, and syncretism have been
the main topics I've focused on.
Naturally, that study has led to
a much different lens
than the one I had
back when I was 18.
To put it simply, my philosophy is this:
~ There is a Creator,
or at the very least, a Creation.
~ The Creator, or Creation,
Created All That Is.
~ The Creator is Life Itself.
~ Life Itself is All-Knowing.
~ Lifeforms are aware of their divinity
to the extent that they are able to be.
~ Lifeforms are informed as required
to fulfill their roles within Creation.
~ Lifeforms may choose their roles,
to the extent that they are able
(possess the capacity) to fulfill them.
~ The Hermetic Principles stand.

Principles and Intentions
I've shared with you the abridged version of my life story leading up to the genesis of this project.
I've disclosed my foundational assertions about Creation, the world, and/or Reality.
If you read all that and are reading this, it would appear that you are curious what this is all about.
Well I'll tell ya.
Ever since I was a little boy,
I had the feeling that I could strategize
a remedy to all the major problems of the world.
Over the years I suppressed that feeling
as my perception and beliefs grew dismal.
Then, a few years ago,
as I was healing generations of trauma in my body,
I began to hear my actual mind through the cacophony
of my overstimulated psyche ~ with the thousands of impressions it had accumulated.
I thought it was an alien or deity, because the part of my psyche where the True Self presides was completely foreign to me after the years I'd spent identifying with all the beliefs, ideas and perceptions which had been presented to me through the people and media in my life.
Since then, I have regained the calm, peaceful serenity of the True Self; and through the wisdom I have become, my thoughts are ~ at last ~ coherent.
With a coherent mind and heart, I have been able to articulate many components of a holistic strategy to remedy the problems of our world by reclaiming the cosmic power of our own psyche, body, and our lives embodied here in this realm.
The foundation of any great strategy or plan
is principles ~ derived from the Greek:
"principia" meaning "first, leading, most necessary"
These are my principles:
~ Supreme acknowledgment of the free will
and sovereign integrity of All Living Beings ~
~ Devoted Service to All Life ~
~ Alignment to the Laws of Nature ~
That's it.
I like to keep things simple,
just as Nature does.
The Mission
The time has come for humanity to remember
Who We Are In Truth ~ and indeed, we do.
The Song of the True Self Sings
in the heart of every Living Being.
So our quest then, is to be
In Our Knowing
Together.
The Vital Aesthetic
is for the purpose
of Being in
Our Knowing,
Together.

Through this website,
and the community which
sprouts forth from it,
we may participate
in the cultivation
of humanity's collective realization
and the actualization to follow.
